VOICES FOR THE RIVER
Find solutions that work for everyone. This is a vital issue that affects livelihoods and homes. Please pay attention to the way this affects local residents and not just corporations. The Nolichucky River is a resource for the people and should be available to anyone who wishes to use it responsibly. The Nolichucky is one of my favorite spots in all of WNC. I have spent many hours floating down it's canyon and simply being glad to be alive and there in that moment. Aside from my own recreational delight in the river, I know it is a livelihood for hundreds to thousands of my fellow citizens on both sides of the river.
