We’re thrilled to share that RISE Erwin has stepped up in a big way to support the Nolichucky Outdoor Recreation Association’s (NORA) dump trailer fund—a critical piece of our post-Hurricane Helene recovery and river cleanup efforts. Their generous contribution covers nearly one-third of the total cost of the trailer, giving us the momentum we need to get this project off the ground.
Now we need your help to get us over the finish line!
This dump trailer will allow our volunteers to haul out massive amounts of flood debris, metal scraps, and damaged infrastructure that still litter the river corridor. Without it, cleanup is slow and inefficient—but with it, we can take immediate action to restore the Nolichucky to its natural beauty and make it safer and more accessible for everyone.
This is more than a piece of equipment—it’s a commitment to our community. To the outfitters who lost their season. To the guides who are out of work. To the volunteers eager to make a difference. And to every person who loves this river and wants to see it protected and thriving once again.
🌟 RISE Erwin has shown what community leadership looks like. Now it’s your turn.
Please give what you can—and just as importantly, share this campaign with your friends, family, and fellow river lovers. Together, we can raise the remaining funds and get this trailer into the hands of the volunteers who are ready to roll.
Let’s do this—for the river, for the community, and for the future.
